Description:

The water coming to the stormwater drainage system contains a large amount of sand and other small fractions. If lattices are capable to prevent penetration into system of large fragments of garbage, then only special devices - sand traps will be able to protect the stormwater drainage from sand. At the moment, this most effective solution allowing to avoid a contamination of drainage pipes.

The product can be called differently (a sand trap, a peskosbornik, the sand trap, etc.), however his essence at the same time does not change. It is the functional component of system connecting a superficial drainage system with the stormwater drainage. As well as all drainage trays which are a part of superficial sewer system sand traps are completed with lattices. In addition, products are supplemented with the built-in hydrolocks and devices interfering penetration of leaves into the sewerage. The design of a peskosbornik is extremely simple. As a rule, it is the capacity of rectangular section supplied with lateral openings of standard diameter for joining with sewerage pipes. Output openings settle down much above a device bottom and therefore the water flow passing through a sand trap is cleared of the smallest impurity accumulating on a bottom.

Sand traps mount in the lowermost point of the drainage channel i.e. where it is joined to a collector. Installation of the device is carried out according to the existing rules of installation of systems of a superficial drainage. Selecting a sand trap, it is necessary to be guided by the settlement productivity of all system.
