Newspapers — the Periodical in the form of big sheets, usually daily, devoted to events of the current social and political life. Proceeding from definition, this type of printing products is demanded and widespread. The newspaper as a way of information transfer, media, political parties, the public and religious organizations, the companies and other structures widely use.
Depending on the necessary circulation of the newspaper it is possible to divide on:
Printing of large-circulation newspapers is carried out on newspaper or offset paper in rolls. For big circulations use the role printing machine.
The role press has a number of advantages:
- Profitability. By role cars it is possible to apply not expensive newsprint to printing of newspapers.
- Press speed. One role printing machine an hour can produce up to 60 thousand prints an hour. Besides, drawing information can be carried out from two parties at the same time.
- POS printing processing. The role car on a row with the press carries out also a folding and undercutting. It considerably accelerates process of delivery of circulation and reduces costs of production.
- High quality of a print
At the same time the role press has several restrictions, such as:
- the minimum circulation — not less than 30 thousand copies. It is not profitable to print smaller number of copies by role car as costs of a priladka can exceed the cost of the circulation.
The most widespread formats of the A4, A3, A2 newspapers. In case of a large number of pages in the newspaper — the fastening on brackets is allowed.
Depending on amount of colors, newspapers can be:
- 1 or 2-colored. In such newspapers use newsprint with a density of 45 g/m2.
- Full-color. If at production of the newspaper use the full-color press — density of paper has to be not less than 60-80 g/m2. The increased density of material is necessary in order that rich colors did not appear on a reverse side of printed page
