Public-private partnership
The Public-private Partnership (PPP) is based with the purpose to provide financing, planning, execution and operation of objects, productions and rendering of services of public sector. Its key features are:
a) Long term of providing and rendering of services (sometimes for up to 30 years);
b) Transfer of risks to the private sector;
c) Variety of forms of the long-term contracts concluded by legal entities with the government and municipal institutions.
PPP addresses the innovative methods applied by public sector to the conclusion of the contract with the private sector using the capital and administrative potential at implementation of projects according to the established time frames and the budget while the public sector keeps responsibility for providing the population with these services with way, favorable to it, and makes positive impact on economic development and improvement of quality of life of the population.
