1. Description

The primer of TPO QuickPrime represents the priming structure intended for cleaning and preparation of the TPO-membrane of UltraPly TPO, and also cleaning and preparation of through structural elements before putting liquid Pourable Sealer sealant and gluing of the self-adhesive TPO-materials QuickSeam according to technical requirements of the Firestone company.

2. Preparation

Surfaces on which TPO QuickPrime primer is applied have to be pure, smooth, dry and cleared of foreign materials, oils, fats and other pollution. Surfaces have to be cleared by means of a brush or pure rags. The structure should be mixed carefully before use and during it for the purpose of receiving uniform mix without deposit at a bottom and a suspension. In case of long storage of structure at temperatures below 15 °C it is necessary to give it the chance to get warm before use to room temperature.

3. Drawing

Drawing a primer of TPO QuickPrime on sodinyaemy surfaces should be made by means of the QuickScrubber grater or a grater with the QuickScrubber Plus handle long dabs with the increased effort on all length of the grounded site, without admissions and puddles backwards-forward until surfaces of a membrane do not gain uniform color. The consumption of this material makes 20-25 sq.m on gallon. On strongly polluted sites of a membrane of UltraPly TPO carrying out additional cleaning is required. When using a grater with the QuickScrubber Plus handle drawing priming structure should be made with the effort sufficient in order that the holder of a grater completely became straight and provided its full contact with a membrane on all surface of a grater. Before gluing of the materials QuickSeam it is necessary to give to the grounded surface the chance to dry completely (usually less than 10 minutes). The procedure of gluing of self-adhesive TPO-materials is carried out according to technical requirements of the Firestone company.

4. Consumption rate

One gallon on 20-25m2 at unilateral drawing.

5. Packing / Storage / Expiration date

Packing: Bucket of 11,3 l (3 gallons). Storage: To store in the sealed factory container at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. Not to allow hit of a direct sunlight prior to use. Expiration date: 12 months on condition of storage according to the above instructions. At long influence of the increased temperatures the expiration date is reduced.

6. Precautionary measures

Not to smoke in usage time. To use only in well aired places. To avoid dlitel-a leg of contact with skin. Material is intended only for industrial application.
