Cementation
Steel cementation — superficial diffusive saturation of low-carbonaceous steel carbon for the purpose of increase of hardness, wear resistance. Cementations subject low-carbonaceous (usually up to 0.25% of C) and alloyed became, process in case of use of a firm karbyurizator is carried out at temperatures of 900 — 950 °C, at gas cementation (a gaseous karbyurizator) — at 850 — 900 °C. After cementation of a product subject to the heat treatment leading to formation of a martensitny phase in a product blanket (training on martensite) with the subsequent holiday for removal of internal tension.
